Wellfleet Pottery Umber China Wall Mirror
in a glazed cobalt blue color.
These pieces are highly collectible and no longer made. Handcrafted
in Wellfleet (Cape Cod), MA by Trevor and Kathleen Glucksman.
On the rear edge you will find engraved "Wellfleet Pottery" and "bird" hallmark.
Exceedingly rare and in exceptional condition from
the
premier and most prestigious pottery studio on Cape Cod in the 1970's, crafted during the peak of the art scene of that period. The studio was founded in 1970 by the husband and wife team of Trevor and Kathleen Glucksman, whom we met around 1992. Trevor passed away in 2007 and Kathleen in 2015, which greatly enhances the collectible status of items created there.
