    Description

    YOU ARE PURCHASING 1 PAIR of Custom Made Adapter fittings to allow the connection of AN-6 Braided Stainless Steel hoses to 1985 thru 1992 GM/CHEVROLET Tuned Port Fuel Injection equipped Engines both in the original OEM Chevrolet & Pontiac Vehicles and any other vehicle that one of these engines has been "Swapped" into!!
    Many of these fittings available on eBAY and in the general aftermarket are made of Aluminum, which is fine for Race Car Applications where weight is always an important consideration--But on a Street Driven vehicle, weight is less a factor, so these fittings are machined from Mild Steel which is more durable and less prone to having the threads "stripped" by cross-threading them during assembly.
    The "MALE" style fittings(first two photos) are used with the hardline connections at the front of the TPI manifolds, AND the "FEMALE" style fittings(remaining two photos) will connect directly to the OEM steel fuel lines on the chassis or inner fender well. Both MALE & FEMALE style fittings are supplied with New OEM style O-Rings that are compatible with the Ethanol Alcohol additives being used in most
    currently
    available pump gas, NOT the hardware store generic O-rings used by some others.
    In addition to their primary application on Corvette/Camaro/Firebird TPI equipped applications these adapters will fit many of GM's Throttle Body Injectors (TBI) that also utilize 14mm x 1.5 AND 16mm x 1.5 threads.
    NOTE:
    Some 1989 & later Corvette TPI Units require 2-16mm x 1.5 fittings instead of the "Normal' 1-14mm x 1.5 and 1-16mm x 1.5 combination used on all the other TPI combinations---If you are working with one of these later Corvette sourced units check your thread sizes before ordering and then, if necessary,  specify "TWO 16mm x 1.5 fittings" on the PayPal order form!!
