Tintype of Patrick "Paddy" Lynch & 2 Fellow Baseball Players
Lynch Played in Minor League from 1889 to 1898

DESCRIPTION
:
A highlight addition to any vintage baseball collection.     This tintype features 3 young men posing in their baseball outfits.  Looks like "BA" across the front.      This tintype came from a family album, which noted the players as Patrick "Paddy" Lynch and John Robb.     I believe Patrick Lynch is the young men standing on the right.     I have not been able to find any thing on John Robb, but I have found a wealth of information on Patrick Lynch.
He was born on December 28, 1866.       He made his "pro" minor league debut in 1889, at the age of 22.    He played on several minor league teams during his career, never making it to the majors (See last photo above).     His last year, as a player, was 1898.   In 1905 he started working as umpire in the Triple 1 league and Western League.   He died unexpectedly in 1908, at the age of 41.

Measures 2-1/2” x 3-3/4”.
CONDITION
:
Corners cut and edges slightly uneven.    Tintype is a little darker than scanned photo above.    Tintype has a slight bend to it.   A little light surface scratches.   Check out the above photos and judge condition for yourself.   If you should have any questions ask before you purchase, not afterwards.

Handling Time

Refunds

Buyer must notify the Seller of any issues within 48 hours of confirmed delivery date. Where it has been mutually agreed to, beforehand, item(s) can be returned for a refund within 14 days of this notification. Refunds will be limited to the maximum of the winning bid amount only. No costs will be reimbursed for shipping charges (packing, postage, insurance, tracking, etc.) either way. Buyer will be responsible for prepaying all costs associated with shipping the item(s) back to the seller. The amount refunded, will be conditional on the item(s) being received back in the same condition they were shipped out in. I do not offer refunds due to buyer‘s remorse.
