    This famous son of Erik the Red is the first Viking to reach the shores of North America. This unusual sword, made by Toledo armorers, is the testimony of this noble seaman. The high carbon steel blade has a wide shank. The head and cover are richly decorated with sea dragons and intricate knots, making the model simply beautiful. The wooden handle is covered with black leather and three rings with knots. The sword has a black leather scabbard with an equally stunning lower ferrule and a baldric leather strap.
