A Ring-Hilted Sword Rapier with Scabbard
"The rapier maker of yore had to achieve two goals when he designed a hilt.  It had to protect the hand and had better look very elegant.  This graceful ring-hilt does both.  One of the numerous artistic forms existent in swept-hilt development, this example of the swordmakers's craft is combined with a sword rapier blade of high carbon steel to make a very serviceable battle weapon.  The handle is camel bone.  This weapon is featured in Deadly Duels.  Circa 1580.

The sword appears unused but has some rust near the tip of the blade on both sides and some rust on the metal scabbard tip, as shown in the photos.
