GODDESS Diana & MISTLETOE Art Nouveau French Antique Gold Fill Chain Bracelet

ABOUT:
Eye catching and ornate antique fancy link bracelet in high quality gold fill with a dangling 2 sided attached charm with the goddess Diana on one side with dragon wings on her helmet, and the other side is decorated with mistletoe.
The charm has the most fantastic layered gold patina with highlights of rosy and yellow gold fill. The artwork is just beautiful.
The charm came from an antique set of cufflinks, but it goes very nicely with the chain and both pieces are stamped and made by the company FIX.  These are antique pieces from the Art Nouveau / Belle Epoque period that I purchased in France.
The FIX mark indicates a process of high quality hot gold foil laminating onto brass created by Francois Savard of Paris in the late 1800s / early 1900s.  This method uses an unusually thick layer of 14-18k gold foil over brass which forms the jewelry to withstand long term wear.  It can sometimes be mistaken for and acid tests as real gold. The FIX stamp was registered to protect the integrity of this superior quality laminated gold filled jewelry and the company used only the best Art Nouveau designers of the time.

MEASUREMENTS:
Chain is 8 inches in length.
MARKS:
The loop of the bracelet and the loop on the back mistletoe side of the charm are both hallmarked FIX.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned with some age to them so they are in estate condition.  You will see in photos that the charm hangs downward and spins and turns since the loop is on the center of the back.  Beautiful patina with no underlying metal showing anywhere. But Please note that due to age, this piece is not in mint condition.
