EARLY NORMANISH MACZUGA (WS601010)
Replica. Forged and hand-hardened model. Perfectly balanced. The model is not sharpened but suitable for sharpening.
This type of club was used in the Middle Ages by the Normans. Models of this type were able to break bones and even seriously damage helmets.
The head has numerous blunt bumps interspersed with decorative rope. At the end it has a cap with a wheel for mounting both for horse riding and for infantry. Sometimes this grip was used to tie a weapon to the wrist during a fight.
