AUG 69 CHEVY 427 4 BOLT MAIN 3963512 ENGINE BLOCK CORVETTE YENKO CAMARO MOTION

Description

You are looking at a Aug. 69 dated 427 / 454 Chevy 4 bolt main block. Block is cast # 3963512 and cast date H219 which is Aug. 21st, 1969. This block is correct for late built 69 Corvette L71 and L89 435HP tri-power, L88 and L72 427 Nova Camaro Chevelle COPO Motion Yenko Berger etc. or early 70 built 454 including LS6 Chevelle. The block has 2 sleeves and is currently .030. (4.280). There is light pitting in the bores that will clean up with another .030. Block is decked and the suffix code is gone. There block was stored face down for decades and have pitting on the face (pictured). This pitting should not create any problems but some threads will need helio coils. All head bolt threads are good. This block has been tanked, magnafluxed and shot peened. It all checks out good and I guarantee this to be a good, rebuildable block.
