antique NAVAJO INDIAN sterling silver LARGE MOON SHELL MOP WIDE CUFF BRACELET

Description

circa late 1800's this is a very large face,    moon shell,    mother of pearl,     Navajo Indian,     sterling silver,    wide cuff bracelet.    it was imbedded in deep black patina.     it is signed but we could not find history in the research.     it shined up beautifully and has just a couple of hints of wear upon the large face shell.      the shell sheens and shines as it dances in the light.
construction of the cuff bracelet is light in weight.      this bracelet measures 2 1/4" in inner length,      1 3/4" in inner width,    the gap is 1 5/8".
22 gram weight.
the face of this most stunning Navajo bracelet measures 1 3/4" in length and 1 5/16" in width of the shell setting.    it tapers to 3/8" in width at the gap.
